What have I learned in 2020?

Gratitude for a roof over my head, food in the cupboards, a paycheck, and my community that has pulled together in new and exciting ways to be the change for which we have been waiting. I learned, though I did not want to, that my heart is still capable of breaking.

Who have I admired in 2020?

The young people around the world who have stood up demanding justice for Black Lives, the collaborations that have erupted into movements, the foundations that people have been building for years, finally exploding into the public consciousness and creating a new path forward.

What do I hope for in 2021?

I hope the lessons of sharing and loving we learned this year lead us forward to a future that is MORE WE and LESS ME focused. I hope the stories we have co-created this year inform our evolution as we dive deep into the many lessons the universe tried to teach

us in 2020.   If there is one thing I have learned in all the decades I have spent on this planet is that the universe is always trying to us lessons. If we open ourselves to the wisdom of the universe, we not only expand our perspectives on the world and discover the paths that are ours alone to travel, but we are rewarded untold and intangible riches that fulfill our lives.

I don’t know what the universe will ask of me in 2021. This journey is unfolding and I wait in anticipation for each new twist and turn.

May you all be fully engaged in life.
